IRatio-DotNet 1.0 beta

Last update 2010-06-17

IRatio (Image Ratio) is a small utility designed to show, copy/move images by their width/height ratio.
Originally developed in Java (see here), this is a DotNet porting i made to (try) self-learn C# language.
Honesty speaking, it is much slower than Java version. On the same Intel(TM) dual-core machine, it's up to 20-30 times slower(*) :(
(*)Java version scans 100 jpg files (2592x1944) in 0.25 sec. This one scans 40 jpg files in about 6.5 sec.

So, please: any contribute to improve its performances (and help me to learn better C#, to improve my professional skills) will be greatly appreciated.

Note:
  • This is a beta 1 version. If you find a bug, please let me know by sending a mail to my sourceforge account.
  • IRatio does not support directory recursion.
     That is, IRatio scans a specified directory without search for child directories.
  • IRatio has been developed with Microsoft dotNet 2.0.
  • And finally {
      System.out.println("Sorry for my English :);"
    }.
